| bettye virginia howell is a louisiana lady by birth. she received her musical instruction beginning at the age of 4. she plays with deep feelings, emotions and a tremendous passion. she has recorded at sugar hill and has also written the music for a lead on band that appeared with patti labelle in 1994 on her shreveport tour. bettye virginia's many musical engagements inded pat o'briens in new orleans, nottaway plantation during the world's fair in 1985, pinnacle hills country club in rogers, arkansas -just to mention a few. she has played with many bands too numerous to mention. |
