The CD was recorded at Austin's Flashpoint
Recording Studio. It has a distinctively
Texas flavor, and includes the cream of the
crop of the Texas music scene:
John Inmon, guitars (Lost Gonzos, Jimmy
Lafave); Paul Pearcy, drums (the
Terri Hendrix Band); Glenn Fukunaga, bass
(The Terri Hendrix Band); Darcie Deaville,
fiddle; Danny Barnes, banjo; and The East
Side Flash, dobro and piano.

Instrumentation
Effron most often performs solo with acoustic
guitar and harmonica. He is accompanied from
time to time by Emily Kaitz, bass; Susan
Shore, mandolin; Phil Lancaster, banjo; Keith
Grimwood, bass; and many others. His latest
CD (released in Feb. 2007) explores a more
electrified Americana country rock sound,
employing a studio band consisting of John
Inmon (of the Lost Gonzos) on guitars; Danny
Barnes, banjo; Glenn Fukunaga (Terri Hendrix
Band), bass; and Paul Pearcy (Terri Hendrix
Band), drums. His live show continues to be
mainly acoustic based.
