songs of the great Stax/Volt
era that took place from the
Late '60's to the early '70's. Artists like: Sam & Dave,
Wilson Picket, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklyn, Eddie Floyd....
and the musicians that made the records: Booker "T", Steve
Cropper, Duck Dunn, Issac Hayes, and The Memphis Horns.
They are the masters!
We do our part to re-create the magic of the era that was.

event from hundreds of wedding receptions, private parties,
corporate events and fundraisers to playing for past
Presidents and celebrities!

"Memphis Soul Revue was the highlight of an otherwise top
shelf wedding. To start they played very nice, unobtrusive
music during the cocktail hour at an appropriate volume.
Then they MC'd and played our requested traditional first
dance songs with ease and grace. And when the party
started, the party started! From the first dances through the
end of the evening, the dance floor was packed. They
maintained an energy and level of showmanship that I've
never seen at any other event! They played our requests
from Elton John to Nat King Cole. Additionally, and this is
what was so nice, we left them to their discretion with the
song list except a list of "please do NOT play" songs. They
held to our request, and the songs they chose really kept us
going. We are still getting compliments about the band,
especially the lead singer, whose ability to channel Prince
was priceless. I would recommend this band to anyone who
wants the best in talent, showmanship and professionalism.
