NANCY DYGERT
Nancy Dygert is a graduate of
Bowling Green State University of
Ohio. She furthered her education
with master studies with Professor
Emeritus, Pierre Jamet of the
Paris Conservatory of Music, and
has a Masters in Education. She
began her professional career in
Santa Monica California, as the
salon harpist and director of
music publications for the Salvi
Harp Company of Italy. Nancy
spent fourteen years as a
freelance harpist in the Los
Angeles and Orange County areas,
performing with orchestras, opera
companies and churches. For seven
years, Nancy was the harpist at
the Crystal Cathedral and appeared
regularly on The Hour of Power
television program. She moved to
Branson in 1992 performing in
theaters with Wayne Newton, Tony
Orlando and Dino Kartsonakis.
Nancy currently teaches music for
the Branson schools, is the
principal harpist with the
Springfield Symphony, has a
private harp studio and performs
extensively with the White River
Trio.
